What is a brand? Here at Pro Reps West, we define our brand as a group of individuals who come together to create something greater than the sum of our parts. We want to be a resource and place where our community of customers can come for a hands-on education in everything related to foodservice.

What does that mean, and how do we achieve that?

A New Digital Presence

PRO Homepage

It takes a willingness to change and adapt those resources to better suit our customers. Just like a restaurant where consumer demands dictate how service is provided, we acknowledge that our customers’ preferences are changing, too. And we’re going to lead that change.

On-demand information. How-to videos. Interactive content. We recognized that our digital presence needed a refresh, and the current leadership at Pro Reps West decided it was time to develop our website and social media channels to better serve our customers with the type of information they’re looking for in the formats they prefer. This was the driving force behind the new website and Pro Reps West.

At the same time, there’s a traditional way of doing business that’s never going to change. We believe in strong relationships with our customers and foodservice equipment dealers. There will always be a human element in what we do. What we’re saying now, though, is we can also cultivate relationships with our customers and partners using the web. As we’ve learned over the past several years, it’s still possible provide value even when we’re shut off from one another.

A New Education Center Kitchen

Yes, you can maintain relationships and provide value on a website or through social media, but you’d can’t taste food. At least not yet.

Part of our transformation at Pro Reps West also includes upgrades of the brick-and-mortar variety. We’ve upgraded our Costa Mesa test kitchen in a way that provides hands-on learning opportunities for chefs, foodservice operators, consultants, designers, and dealers. Our goal is to branch out and become a resource in the community, and you can’t rightfully do that in the foodservice and hospitality industries without extending an invite and opening up our doors.

We’d like to officially invite you to our brand new education center where you can try out our equipment and test your recipes. Stay tuned for future events in our test kitchen, but feel free to schedule one-on-one time whenever it’s convenient for you.
